When does aerial inspection make sense?
Traditional inspection methods often require significant access equipment — scaffolding, cherry pickers, ladders — which adds cost, time and risk. In many situations, a drone can provide the same visual information more quickly, more safely and at lower cost.
Aerial inspection is particularly well suited to situations where the area to be inspected is large, difficult to access, or where working at height presents a risk. It is not always the right answer — but when it is, the results are often significantly better than what ground-based methods can provide.
